Las Vegas — Classy Art Wholesalers is expanding its youth offerings this market with youth products in all three of its product lines.
![]() Must Be Love II is one of Classy Art’s new promotional youth lines. With fun graphic prints under glass with three-inch MDF scratch-resistant frame, the piece retails for $39. |
"We noticed some time back that all of the youth images we brought in were selling like hotcakes," said Gabriel Cohen, vice president of marketing and sales for Classy Art. "However, it was difficult finding our right imagery at the right price to fit into our programs."
Cohen said that he finds consumers are not willing to pay $199 for wall décor in a child's bedroom that will change in a year or two, so he focused on sharp price points for the category.
"There is not much affordable artwork out there currently that can reach a $39.95 retail price point, so seeing this void we made it our goal," he said.
Classy Art is showing about 48 pieces at the Las Vegas Market this week in the categories of baby, toddler, youth and teen.
"We are really excited to see how this release does in Las Vegas," said Cohen. "Based on our history with the few youth images that were available, we have a very optimistic outlook on what to expect this market."
Classy Art is showing in WMC A-626 inside Crown Mark.
