Furniture maker Whitney Bros. now offering lifetime warranty

Keene, N.H. — Whitney Bros., which makes furniture, storage units and educational play products, has placed a lifetime warranty on all of its products. The new warranty went into effect on Jan. 1 for all items purchased after that date.
Whitney Bros., which makes furnishings domestically for homes, childcare centers and early education schools, says the warranty begins on the date product is shipped to the customer and remains in effect during the original buyer's ownership. The previous warranty was for 10 years.
"In our 108-year history, our brand is renowned for developing innovative products of uncompromising quality that delight children and endure their rigorous use," said David Stabler, president of Whitney Bros. "Generations of customers have told us their products are still in use today, so we decided to translate that attribute into a tangible benefit in the form of a lifetime warranty."
