Graphics, a new juvenile bedroom from CR International, takes its name from the contemporary graphics featured on interchangeable panels on many of the case goods.
LAS VEGAS - CR International, the recently formed division of Chromcraft Revington, says it hit an opening day home run at this week's Las Vegas Market with Graphics, a new line of juvenile bedroom furniture that is debuting here.
The line, the latest addition to the CR Kids & Beyond family of furniture, includes dressers, three- and four-drawer chests, nightstands, storage trundle beds, a student desk, a collapsible desk and chairs. It is characterized by interchangeable panels that feature bold and striking black graphics.
According to Bill Benton, president of CR International, the use of graphics is a hot trend that has shown up on the covers of recent catalogs from retailers including Kohl's, JCPenney and Target.
"With the launch of this line, the goal was to allow the consumer maximum design utilization. So in addition to supplying reversible panels in today's hottest colors - green, blue and pink - we've added an additional panel with eye-catching graphics," he said.
This design flexibility, Benton added, also has answered the need of retailers who have looked to the market for clean, casual contemporary designs in a light finish.
The items, produced in Vietnam, are set to retail from $299 to $699 and are expected to be available in December.
Benton said Monday that the company, showing in World Market Center B-1380, had already written multiple orders for the group. "The show has just opened and we've already had a huge response," he said.
We would love your feedback!
