Sandylion Home Décor expanded its wall coverings offerings at the recent Toy Fair with the debut of canvas picture frames.
Art work from its popular Disney licensed properties Princess, Winnie the Pooh and Cars collections have been translated on a textile canvas material and then stretched over an MDF 11” x 11” wooden frame. There are four designs in the Princess collection, two for Pooh and two for Cars.
The canvases are designed to coordinate with other home décor products including bedding and Sandylion's decorative wall stickers, borders and accessories.
In other company news, Sandylion announced that its wall décor collection is now environmentally friendly.
“We pride ourselves on always being at the forefront of product innovation,” said Steven Schiff, category director, home decor for Sandylion. “Moving towards more environmentally friendly products, Sandylion has been working extensively with its suppliers to be able to provide a greener option to its consumers. We are now proud to announce that we have developed a new proprietary material called EnviroTac that is PVC and phthalate–free for our decorative wall sticker products.”
EnviroTack is made of a custom blend of proprietary resins that produce a soft flexible material with none of the negative elements of PVC. The new material will be phased in by summer 2008 to Sandylion's wall decor collection including decorative wall stickers, wall borders, mini wall stickers, growth charts and mural wall stickers.
Sandylion will continue to use its existing proprietary WonderStix adhesive technology so the product will remain 100% removable and repositionable.
Cars is one of three new canvas collections from Sandylion Home Decor.
