Editor's notes
Lisa Casinger, Editor -- Kids Today, 11/1/2007 12:00:00 AM
You know how you sometimes look at your kids and go, "Wow, I can't believe they're already in kindergarten, or 10 years old or ...fill in the appropriate milestone." Well, guess what? Kids Today will be 10 in 2008 — officially a tween.
Our industry and our magazine have both evolved during the last decade, and we've decided to celebrate our 10th anniversary with a bit of a new look.
Each year we try to bring you content that's more focused and cover topics, companies, products and people that are in the forefront of the industry and 2008 will be no different.
We're adding a quarterly article on style and trends and another on technology. We're also adding an operations column to delve into the business issues you face every day and a green column that will help us all understand what being environmentally friendly is all about.
With these additions to the magazine, we're rolling out a redesigned Kids Today in January. The articles will be easier to read with more white space, more entry points and pull-outs in the copy. The look will be more up-to-date and sophisticated, yet still fun and whimsical.
Andy Warhol said, "They say that time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself."
Take a look at our changes in January and let me know what you think, e-mail me at lcasinger@reedbusiness.com. And, if your company is turning 10 in 2008, let us know so we can celebrate together.
We would love your feedback!
