Toys "R" Us has opened a 25,000-square-foot temporary location in New York City's NoHo neighborhood for the holiday season. The pop-up store is at 692 Broadway, in the former Tower Records building, and will be open from Oct. 1 through Jan. 31, 2008.
The four-level store will carry the most popular toys of the holiday season as well as a selection of perennial favorites such as dolls, action figures, electronics and educational toys. The store also will carry an assortment of souvenir products that capture the spirit of New York City with everything from familiar keepsakes to personalized and New York-branded items.
"As the busy holiday shopping season approaches, we are pleased to offer another convenient location in New York City to assist families with all their toy-buying needs," said Ron Boire, president of Toys "R" Us, North America. "This temporary site is a great complement to our international flagship store in Times Square, and we are excited to offer shoppers access to The World's Greatest Toy Store in the busy NoHo neighborhood."
Decorated in multi-color stars, white snowflakes and Geoffrey motifs throughout, the store will offer services such as gift wrapping, home delivery for Manhattan residents and UPS shipping options. From Nov. 1 through Dec. 24, customers also can have their pictures taken with Santa.
Toys "R" Us' temporary NoHo store will be open until Jan. 31. The holiday express store carries the most popular toys as well as souveniers and perennial favorites.
We would love your feedback!
