Lombard, Ill.-based USA Baby has hired Kimberly Thomas as its president. Thomas joined the company in November and her role will include strategic planning and an operational assessment to ensure USA Baby is poised for future growth. Ron Eriksen will continue his role as CEO of the company.
"I have full confidence in Kimberly's ability to position USA Baby to meet our growth objectives," Eriksen said. "She is a person of integrity, honesty and she brings specific talents and abilities in the areas of specialty retailing and organizational leadership. She sees the big picture with respect to how USA Baby can positively impact the children and juvenile furniture industry as a whole."
Thomas has an extensive background in operations management. Most recently she was the chief operating officer for Christian International Ministries, where she completed an organizational restructuring to stimulate global interest in the organization. Prior to that, she worked for Stanford Trading Co. directing pharmaceutical sales in Saudi Arabia and The Harberg Masinter Co., a retail real estate company, as its director of operations. Thomas also worked in the real estate department for San Francisco-based The Sharper Image during its aggressive expansion campaign.

I am the employee who treated Mr and Mrs Hamilton so
horribly. Yes they did wait 20 weeks for a piece of furniiture, the maanufacturer was out of stock and we offered to lend the Hamiltons a dresser until theirs arrived. They refused, but demanded a cash consideration, which was granted.
The day they came to pick up the dresser Mr Hamilton informed us that he didn't want to pay the balance. We contatcted our boss who was on a rare day off and asked what we should do. He offered Mr Hamilton a further cash consideration, which Mr Hamilton refused and at this point became very beligerent with those of us unfortunate enough to be within the sound of his very loud voice.
I lost track of the number of times he called me bitch and I finally lost patience with both of them when Mrs Hamilton stated that I was obviously sleeping with my boss. I am a 51 year old woman and have een married for 32 years. At this point I did become very rude with both of them and I do not apologise for anything I said.
Gone are the days when a person can flagrantly berate and curse at another person just because they happen to be a customer. As you give so shall you receive Mrs Hamilton. This should be a valuable lesson learned for both you and your husband. Be careful who you are unpleasant to, they might be as unpleasant as you are.
Regards,
Liz
