BabyUniverse, a leading online retailer of brand-name baby, toddler and maternity products based here, announced last month the pricing of its initial public offering of 2 million shares of its common stock at $9.50 per share, all of which will be sold by the company. A registration statement relating to the securities has been declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission. The company's common stock is now traded on the American Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "BUN."
