Stork Craft's Moore receives E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year award

Jim Moore, president/CEO of Stork Craft Manufacturing Inc. received the 2006 Ernst & Young award of Entrepreneur of the Year for the Pacific Region in October. Moore and Stork Craft also won the Ernst & Young National Award for Product Excellence and Moore will accept the awards in Ottawa Ontario on November 2, 2006.
Moore will meet with the other Ernst & Young National winners from the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia and South Africa in Palm Springs California, where he will be inducted into the Entrepreneur of the Year Institute on November 15-18. Other winners include Arthur Blank, co-founder Home Depot; Tim Donahue, chairman, Sprint Nextel; Herbert Kohler Jr., chairman, Kohler Company; Richard Schulze, founder/chairman Best Buy.
Jay Leno and Jaimie Lee Curtis will host the event and Chicago will perform.
Stock Craft Manufacturing also has been named as a finalist for the 2006 Exporter of the Year by the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (BC Division).
