Editor’s Letter
Lisa Casinger -- Kids Today, 1/1/2008 12:00:00 AM
Happy New Year! For those of you who may not have heard the news in November, this issue not only is the debut of our redesign but also the first issue of our 10th anniversary year.
To celebrate, I’m sharing a school picture of me when I was 10. Thankfully times (and styles) have changed!
Our two main goals with the redesign were to update the look of the book, keep it fun but make it look more sophisticated and to make it more useful to you, our readers.
We’ve added a bi-monthly Retail Operations column, page 31, and tried to be more thoughtful in the product presentations. In each of the product stories, whether it’s Show Biz Las Vegas, Show Biz Gift Markets or Gift Portfolio, we’ve included the company’s phone number in the description so you don’t have to flip to the back of the book to look it up.
We have a lot more in store for you this year, both in print and on the Web (www.kidstodayonline.com). We’re working hard planning the Kids Today Conference, Playing for Keeps, as well — we hope to see you in March in Savannah.
I’d love to hear what you think about our new look, e-mail me at lcasinger@reedbusiness.com.
Don’t forget, if your company is turning 10 this year, let us know!
Sincerely,
Lisa, 10 years old
We would love your feedback!
