Stork Craft named Category Supplier of the Year for Sears Canada

Stork Craft was named Category Supplier of the Year for Sears Canada.
Eighty-one of the top Sears Canada vendors were invited to an exclusive event in Toronto recently, all of whom were nominated as suppliers of the year in their respective categories.
The Sears Canada Partner in Progress award is presented annually to a select group of Sears Canada suppliers in recognition of outstanding service, innovation and superior quality products.
Stork Craft, based in Richmond, B.C., Canada, not only was recognized as a Partner in Progress but also was the recipient of the Category Supplier of the Year for its 2006 performance in key performance measures including sales, profit and customer service.
"As the Sears Canada buyer for juvenile products, I am thrilled to team up with Stork Craft to ensure our mutual profitability by focusing on our customer's wants and needs," said Lann Smyth.
Stork Craft and Sears have been partners since the late 1940s and the company was featured in Sears' first catalog in 1953. It was highly rated on Sears' Score Card, which compares all Sears' vendors.
