High Point—Industry veteran Marc Katzman, former co-owner of Opus Designs, is launching his new company, In Room Furniture Designs, at the April High Point Market, IHFC, D-1035.
The debut includes five youth groups made in Indonesia from mahogany solids and veneers. Collections include Cabo (contemporary with an Asian fusion influence in chocolate or high gloss white), Angellina (rural/country French stylings in merlot and white), Jepara (updated art deco/Bombay in white, natural and a black rubbed finish), Amanda Cooper (casual contemporary in white, merlot, natural and a black rubbed finish) and Emily (cottage group in white and black).
“I have assembled a world class “A” Team in the areas of design, engineering and sales to assist me in bringing this spectacular line of youth and condo bedroom products to this market,” Katzman said. “We’re offering these collections as direct container or mixed container with warehousing in New Jersey and Texas.”

There are 13 finishes, including an eye-catching gun metal. All beds are twin, full or queen with under-bed storage and trundle options. Katzman has brought in some unique case pieces like plasma stands for dressers to accommodate the influx of plasma TVs in kids’ rooms, as well as space-saving desk and media options.
We would love your feedback!
