The Hoppop Original

After the debut of its award-winning first product, a diaper bag that transforms into a baby seat, Belgium-based Hoppop has a new collection.

The Hoppop Original was an immediate success and received the K&J Innovation Award in 2007.

This year accolades include the Middle East Toy Fair Award; the Baby Innovation Award in the Benelux; Baby Product of the Year 2008 in Russia; Most Innovative Baby Product by consumer publication Parents; and Most Innovative Juvenile product in Canada.

“Parents have embraced the Hoppop Original,” said Christophe Verlinden, designer/artist and Hoppop managing director. “Many requests for more of these products came in. We listened carefully, saw a lack of original baby products and toys with a unique design, went back to work and are proud to present the 2009 collection.”

The line includes Bato, a double-wall baby bath that maintains its water temperature for a long period of time; Pilo deluxe, a waterproof and anti-bacterial changing mat with a built-in mobile and side drawers to hold toiletries and Otto, a super light but strong riding toy that supports children weighing up to 55 pounds.

Hoppop's Pilo deluxe changing mat has a soft padded strap that secures the baby and lets the parent have both hands free, $69.95.
