The Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market was brimming with introductions last month and if gift shows haven't been on your radar lately, you might want to reconsider. Many companies offering products for infants and youth only exhibit at gift shows and others try these shows before jumping into JPMA or ABC.

The first of the 2007 markets shows that a few trends are lingering, like chocolate in combination with pink and blue and polka dots. Chocolate, along with other neutrals in this color palette, also are showing up on their own.

Though the cowboy theme is a mainstay in the juvenile industry, it seems to be coming to the forefront as many companies introduced product that sported either classic, retro or whimsical looks. Orange also is making more of a splash. We first saw it at ABC in September and the trend continued in Atlanta, though it's not yet replacing the brown family.

Light of Mine Designs expands its wall decor offerings with images personalized with the child's name, $159. The oversized mat also allows for friends and family to write their own notes as well.

Wipe your paws on these whimsical rugs from Cuddlebugs-n-Cocoons. Four paw-print rugs, $80 a set, step up to a larger rug of a sweet puppy, $85, adding a playful look to the bedroom.

Each of the company's collections is based on a character and Lily Mae is a sweet little frog in purple and green polka dot combos on everything from clothing, bibs and blankets to books, plush and more. There are about 12 pieces in the group with price points of $16-50.
