Kids Today gets new publisher

Robin Martinez has been named publisher of Kids Today effective July 3. Martinez joined sister publication Furniture/Today in 2004 as the sales manager for the East central/Canada West territory and was instrumental in developing Canada Today, a 2006 supplement to Furniture/Today.
"We're excited to welcome Robin to the Kids Today staff," said Kevin Castellani, group publisher. "She brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge, and I'm confident in her abilities to take the publication to the next level."
Martinez is replacing Pete Cohen, who is leaving the publication to work with Jacksonville, Fl.-based Green Frog Art. Cohen served as publisher of Kids Today since 2001 and under his leadership the publication has seen outstanding growth and recognition.
"I am thrilled to have this opportunity and look forward to becoming more involved in such a wonderful industry and working with a team that has already taught me a great deal," Martinez said. "I am confident our team will continue the growth of Kids Today and its positive impact on the industry."
