Emess adds to CosmoGirl line

Lighting manufacturer Emess Design Group expanded its licensed CosmoGirl brand at the International Home Furnishings Market in High Point.
The collection has 18 products, which feature touches such as felt, braided trim, lace, beads and glitter accents that reflect current fashions and trends. Nightlights retail for $14.99, and the table, accent and floor lamps retail between $29.99 and $39.99.
Emess, which launched the licensed line in fall 2004, is targeting girls ages 9 to 14, a group that is part of the Echo Boom generation.
"Echo Boomers are 80 million strong in the U.S. and spend an average of nearly $400 a year on decorating for their personal havens," said Matt Caiazza, vice president of marketing at Emess. "We're seeing increased market share from our retailers who recognize their buying capacity."
Emess is shipping the line now; it's available at lighting specialty stores, home centers and big box stores.
We would love your feedback!
